Perodua & Proton Jump into Rahmah Bandwagon by Offering “Auto-Rahmah” With Up to 30% Discount

Car maintenance fee is one of the many unavoidable commitments, regardless of your car’s branding. However, Perodua Axia & Bezza users are in for a treat during this Raya season!

Yes, it has something to do with “Rahmah” but no, you’re not getting a car at RM5 (we wish!).

In a campaign known as Perodua Auto Rahmah, it was revealed that a 30% discount will be imposed on the total invoice for parts and labour costs. To be entitled for this promotion, Bezza and Axia users simply need to contact the nearest Perodua centers for appointment.

This campaign won’t last long as it will only be available from April 12 until May 15, 2023, as announced by a statement from Perodua. This was done as a “response” to an initiative known as Auto Rahmah which was introduced by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI),  which aims to ease the burden of the people through various cost of living aspects.

Perodua also said they hope other automotive brands will follow suit in easing the people’s burden during this festive season.

Prior to Perodua’s involvment in the campaign, Proton was the first automotive brand to take part in Auto Rahmah, with a different amount of discount – a free 40-point safety check and a service package priced at RM150.  Not only that but Proton users can also enjoy 25% discount on semi synthetic oil.

The campaign is open to all Proton users, regardless of the car models, and it will run from April 12 until May 31, 2023. You can read more about the deal here, and Perodua Bezza & Axia users may click this link to find out more about Perodua’s Auto Rahmah.

Tengku Zafrul, the Minister of Investment, Trade & Industry posted on Facebook last night (April 12) and said that the campaign aims to reduce the burden of the low income groups in terms of car maintenance, especially during this festive season when people are expected to balik kampung soon.

“I hope other automotive car brands will also take part in this initiative. MITI’s doors are always open,” Tengku Zafurl said.
