Based on the 28-second dashcam video, the incident occurred at around 5.13 pm when the Myvi collided with a Mazda CX3. This causes the Mazda to jerk forward and crash onto a Proton Persona.

Selangor Traffic Enforcement Department (JSPT) Superintendent Azman Shariat said that the Myvi skidded away and swerved off before the arrival of four motorcyclists that didn’t manage to avoid the uncontrolled car and collided into it.

According to Harian Metro, the riders were brought to Hospital Serdang by an ambulance for treatment.

“First rider, Wan Muhammad Wan Kamaruzaman, 36, was injured on the chest and wounded on his left knee. While the second rider, Wan Azlan Wan Kamaruzaman, 33, broke his hips and right wrist,” he said in a press statement.

The other two victims, Wan Hussin Wan Kamaruzaman, 40, broke his left wrist, while Muhamad Faiz Mohamad, 25, cracked his left foot.

“Investigation found that the Myvi was following the Mazda CX3 closely and was not able to avoid the car before the occurrence of the accident.”

“We are still searching for the owner of the Myvi car as they still haven’t lodged a police report,” he said.

The case is now being investigated under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

It was believed that three of the four victims are siblings and were reported to be on the way home from an event at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park, Serdang (MAEPS).

Some netizens have claimed that the Mazda was forced to suddenly stop as there was a crash right in front of it just before the Myvi was forced to swerve back into the lane, causing the accident seen in the video. However, WORLD OF BUZZ in unable to confirm the reports of a preceding accident. Netizens who wish to relay any information related to that accident can send us any photos or videos they may have through our Facebook Messenger.

What a tragedy! We pray for the recovery of the victims and hope that the driver will be apprehended soon.
