Jofliam, the ex-husband of Malaysian influencer Cik Epal, recently found himself under fire after an insensitive remark of him about his ex-wife went viral.

The conversation took place many months ago but recently circulated on social media again, showing Jofliam claiming his ex-wife was taking shots of epidurals when giving birth to their children. The conversation started after the individual mentioned the sacrifices that Cik Epal had made when giving birth to their children, Han and Yuki.

Jofliam claimed that his wife used the epidural shots as a “cheat code” to relieve the pain of giving birth.

“Apparently, it didn’t hurt. Playing victim.”

“I had never considered her as a ‘baby factory.’ I wanted only two children.”

In case you are not aware, an epidural helps mothers reduce pain during the birth process through the injection of anaesthesia into the epidural space of the lower spine.

Free love-shaped pizza and flowers

Jofliam is well aware of the criticisms he has been getting online, and in a series of Instagram stories recently, the man, who is also the owner of a Wagyu Pizza business, said that the conversation took place 4 months ago.

Regardless, Jofliam apologised to those who were offended by his epidural remark, but his token of apology was not only verbal.

For every purchase of pizza, Jofliam will be giving away another love-shaped pizza with flowers to pregnant women who buy the food from him.

“This is to celebrate the mothers who went through a lot in childbirth.”

Jofliam also said his current wife was taken aback by his previous remark, and said he shouldn’t have said that.

Last year, Jofliam went viral after his ex-wife claimed that he skipped paying taxes to LHDN, despite making over RM600,000 a month from his business. Jofliam later responded and denied the claims.

What do you think of Jofliam’s remark?
