Man Assaults Woman at Shah Alam Traffic Light, PDRM Urges Victim to Come Forward & Lodge a Report

Distressing videos circulating on social media have gone viral recently, showing a woman getting into an argument and then being deliberately hit by a man at a traffic light in Taman Budiman Valley, Section U15, Shah Alam.

The police are urging the victim to come forward and make a report for further investigation, according to Kosmo.

The passerby filed a police report

Shah Alam District Police Chief, ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim, said the incident happened around 3:55 AM and has since gone viral through a 3-minute video.

He mentioned that police received a report at 4:35 AM from a passerby, a 24-year-old local woman who is currently unemployed.

At the time, she and her friend were driving a Perodua Axia along Persiaran Mokhtar Dahari, heading from Shah Alam to Puncak Alam.

Mohd. Iqbal added that the victim, whom they did not know and who was wearing a traditional outfit (baju kurung) and barefoot, stopped their vehicle to ask for help.

The victim’s identity remains unknown

Mohd. Iqbal added that checks revealed no police report has been lodged by the victim so far, and her identity remains unknown.

“Therefore, the police urge the victim to come forward and lodge a police report immediately so that further investigations can be carried out.”

He added that members of the public who have any information about the incident are requested to contact the Shah Alam District Police Headquarters Operations Room at 03-55202022 or the Bukit Jelutong Police Station Chief, Inspector Mohamad Amzar Mohamad Shuffie at 013-6666657,” he said.
