In a recent viral video circulating online, @yuzashila shares an incident that took place during raya as she hosts an open house at her home in Johor.
“Her water broke on my new sofa”
The amusing incident is certainly not the typical raya tradition you’d expect at an open house. In the video, a pregnant woman can be seen stunned as she realises her water has broken.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Shila recounted how the incident occurred at her home, where she hosted an open house for her close relatives to visit during raya.
“After we had finished eating, we decided to relax and wait for our other relatives to arrive. As we were waiting, suddenly she shouted, announcing that her water had broken.”
The baby arrived first before anyone else!
The funniest part of the video was when the host yelled “sofa” in disbelief, jokingly upset about her new sofa getting ruined by the water breaking on it.
Shila continued to share how when the woman’s water broke, everyone went into panic mode as everyone tried to remove their respective cars in order to give way to the pregnant relative to make her way to the hospital.
“Our aunties had asked for all kinds of cloth. The pregnant mother went to the hospital and was admitted only 4 cm dilation. She didn’t feel any pain until Sunday morning when the baby was ready to come out.”
