Police are currently hunting down 3 men who robbed a daycare at Tali Air 11, Pasir Panjang in Sabak Bernam, Selangor, on Monday, April 21.
According to Sinar Harian, the incident happened around 9:35 AM while 2 female teachers and a kitchen helper were waiting for the kids to arrive.
A teacher got slapped by one of the suspects
Sabak Bernam Police Chief, Superintendent Md Yusof Ahmad, said they received an emergency call from one of the teachers, saying she was robbed by a group of local men in a Perodua Bezza.
He added that the suspects showed up with machetes and got so aggressive that one of them ended up slapping the female teacher twice, once on each cheek.
Initial investigations also revealed that during the incident, there were 2 teachers, a kitchen helper, and 10 children at the daycare.
“All 3 suspects, armed with machetes, stormed into the premises and took off with 2 gold necklaces and a phone belonging to the teachers,” he said.

No reports of any children being harmed
Thankfully, there were no reports of any children getting hurt.
The case is being investigated under Section 395/397 of the Penal Code for armed gang robbery.
