Taking place at DUN Gual Ipoh, Tanah Merah, Kelantan, this MP went all out announcing his latest update to his DUN by giving it a much-needed ATM & CDM machine.

In his social media entry, he shared a video of the ceremony to help spread the latest development he has brought to his constituents.

Inviting the Kelantan Menteri Besar himself to officiate the event, he shared this with those in attendance.

“For city folks, this maybe a norm, but in places like this, this maybe something that is outstanding.”

Netizens were not impressed.

“Having an ATM machine is not the problem. It is the need to go over the top and have an officiating ceremony that bugs me.”

One user said, “Only in Kelate is it extraordinary to have an ATM machine. In Selangor, ATM machines are not as relevant anymore as we have moved to a cashless society.”

“They have led the state for almost 30 years. Only in 2024 have they considered bringing an ATM machine to town,” commented another netizen.
