Cats have a unique ability to find comfort and relaxation in the most unexpected places. Their flexibility and preference for unconventional sleeping spots is a trait many cat owners find amusing.
@fakkyehhjam posted a TikTok video showing a funny moment when he discovered his cat fast asleep in the most unexpected spot imaginable.
Rayyan the mischievous cat!
In the video, as the cat owner enters his kitchen, he notices the fridge door wide open. After switching on the lights, he finds his cat peacefully sleeping at the bottom of the fridge.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Ijam shared how, before leaving his house at Ampang around 11pm, he decided to check on his cat, Rayyan, who was peacefully sleeping in the living room.
This was the first time Rayyan opened the fridge door
Ijam went on to share that upon returning home around 3 in the morning, he noticed the refrigerator door was open wide.
“I had a suspicion that Rayyan was up to something, as he always looks for cool places to sleep. He’s quite a mischievous cat,” he explained.
He expressed his surprise, noting it was the 1st time Rayyan had managed to open the fridge door by himself and curled up to sleep inside.
Even cats rely on air conditioning to beat the heat in Malaysia’s scorching weather!
Ijam went on to explain that he wasn’t sure how long Rayyan had been in the fridge, but he could imagine how comfortable Rayyan must have been to sleep in a cooling spot.
“Whenever my mom opens the fridge to grab something for cooking, Rayyan quickly perks up and rushes over to jump inside, just like you can see in the video,” he added.
He also stressed that owning a cat demands being physically, mentally, and financially ready. Loving pets means learning the joy of giving without expecting anything in return.
