Malaysians tend to like parking wherever they please, including at roadsides and other places that can inconvenience road users and pedestrians alike.

But what happens when people start parking at junctions and turnings?

UtusanTV took to their TikTok page to showcase how a Malaysian man, Abdul Qayyum, had waited in line at a junction at Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur, for about 2 minutes before realising that the cars infront of him were not exactly waiting to turn, they were parked.

UtusanTV wrote, “For about 2 minutes, Abdul Qayyum waited in line before realising that they were all parked.”

In the video, Abdul Qayyum moved into the lane for right turns as the car in front of him had their break lights on. There were also 2 other cars parked in front of them.

After waiting a while, the people in the car in front suddenly turned off their lights and got down from the car.

Puzzled, he rolled down his window and asked the people, “Are you parking here?”

When they replied yes, Abdul Qayyum said in disappointment, “Ya Allah, I was waiting for the junction.”

Other cars could also be seen going past the row of parked cars to turn right at the junction.
