Car owners usually spare no expense when it comes to looking after and caring for their vehicles. From polishing to giving it a good wash, for some, their automobiles represent pure pride and joy. However, one Malaysian uncle found a clever way to wash his vehicle without needing to tire himself.

In a clip shared by TikTok user @abangkaren_, the poster captured a moment of the uncle washing his car. From wiping down all its surfaces to making sure the windows and roof of the car were scrubbed well, the vehicle shined and gleamed, looking brand new when the uncle hosed it down with water.

There was just one little catch that seemed to catch every viewer’s eye – the uncle was washing his car using a mop.

Throughout the clip, the older man’s use of the mop seemed peculiar at first, though the tool started to seem more suitable over time as he managed to reach tough spots in the cleaning process.

Intrigued and fascinated, viewers of the video praised the older uncle for thinking smart rather than working hard, creating a useful yet thorough method of washing his car.

“This is actually a great idea! Something an older person would think of for sure,” commented one user.

However, other users came forward to mention how they also use mops to wash their cars, citing various reasons such as to reach spots they normally wouldn’t be able to without a long object.

“I have actually used a mop to wash my car for the longest time. It is a quick and easy way for people who aren’t tall enough to wash the roof of their cars,” added one person.

All in all, multiple Malaysians also mentioned how there are designated mops one can buy for the purpose of washing their car, just so one doesn’t have to resort to using a floor mop.
