M’sian Mixed Doubles Pair Chen-Toh Wins Gold In Taipei Open 2023!

Congratulations to Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei! 

Malaysian mixed doubles pair Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei brings home another gold medal from Taipei Open 2023. They won against Taiwan’s Chiu Hsiang Chieh and Lin Xiao Min in the finals with a score of 21-12, 21-8.

This is the pair’s second BWF champion title this year in less than 8 months of being partnered together. With their outstanding performance, the final match ended in only 30 minutes.

According to the Badminton Association of Malaysia, the Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei pair is the first Malaysian pair to win the title since Kien Keat-Pei Tty in 2004.

Congratulations once again to our national athletes and thanks for making us proud!
