We Malaysians simply love to spook ourselves silly. From binging on ghost stories to sharing videos of paranormal activity, we simply love a good story about things that go bump in the night.

This is one of those stories where the proof is caught on tape.

Netizen @HellmyAnwar shared a video he captured of a chair that moved on its own during his mealtime.

Here is the video of the moving chair.

In the video, @HellmyAnwar is heard saying, “Please stop moving. I am about to eat here. Let me eat just for a little while” as if to ask the entity to just leave him alone a little while longer.

“There’s still a lot more food left. How am I supposed to run away.”

“There are prawns here too.”

Surely only a brave person is able to dine despite the paranormal activity taking place right before his eyes.

The entity however relented and stopped pestering @HellmyAnwar.

The video which has garnered more than 300k views, however, was nothing more than a prank!

Though no form of special effects was used, @HellmyAnwar explained that he works on a ship and since the chair is stuck to the floor, instead of having wheels to counter the gravity of the moving ship, the seat itself will move instead.

Getting the joke, netizens joined in and added their own flair to the thread, with some adding that the ‘entity’ was interested in his prawns.

No one can resist prawns right?

We hope that this video will not hinder your thirst for the paranormal and urge netizens to continue their search for a little bit of mystery in their lives.
