Harian Metro reported that on 10th September 2019, a woman slashed the wrist of her ex-lover with a blade after he dumped her in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Apparently, the woman went to the victim’s condominium for a discussion (perhaps, it was regarding their relationship) but things took an ugly turn once they started arguing.

Suddenly, the woman – who is in her 30s – whipped out a paper blade and slashed her ex-lover’s hand until he bled. Kota Kinabalu’s deputy chief of police, superintendent George Rakhman confirmed the incident to Harian Metro when he was inquired about it. According to George, the poor victim had to receive eight stitches as the slashes were quite bad.

He was quoted as saying,

“Investigations, under Section 324 of the Penal Code for purposely causing harm using a weapon, is underway. If found guilty, the woman risks facing up to three years of jail or fine/whipping, or any two of the punishments.”

FYI, the woman, who is a widow, met the man in a nightclub before they started dating, but they broke up in August 2019. Therefore, it’s believed that the woman is unhappy over her break up with the man.

Well, it looks like we’ve got to wait for further information on this case as the investigation is still ongoing. What’s your take on this case? Let us know in the comments below!
