It’s completely natural for parents to have concerns about leaving their baby with a sitter. While some babysitters excel at caring for babies, attending to their physical and emotional needs, and ensuring their happiness, there are unfortunately instances like this.

In a recent tweet from user @jnmalaysia, the user shared an incident that occurred to a mother who revealed an issue with the babysitter she entrusted with her 2 kids.

In the tweet mentioned, the mother conveyed her worry by expressing,

“The 1st day at the sitter’s ended with a painful tragedy for me and the children. Baby Luth, who was only 6 months old, was bitten by the babysitter’s child more than 8 times until the skin tore and bled through his shirt.”

She then shares that not only was her 6-month-old bitten, but her other son, Nuh, also had slap marks on his cheek. The situation left Nuh traumatised, and he even developed a fever as a result.

A concerned online user left a comment on the mother’s Facebook post, asking what was the sitter’s response. The mother responded promptly by saying,

“She apologised and gave RM50 for the treatment and ointment.”

Netizens were quick to share their opinions on the matter as well.

“Please give that sitter a slap in the face.”

“I’m relieved that a police report was made. I sincerely hope you won’t reconsider and withdraw the report. The baby was bitten to the extent of bleeding. This is a sitter from hell.”
