A recent video has caught the attention of many Malaysians, who were left amused after a cat accidentally locked itself inside its owner’s car at a gas station.
In the TikTok clip shared by @lalylossa, Laly discovered that her cat, Tabby, had somehow stepped on the lock button from inside, leaving her stuck outside the car.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Laly shared how the incident happened at a gas station in Puchong, where Tabby ended up locked inside the car for 40 minutes.
In her caption, she explained that she had left Tabby in the car for a short while to record a video and had left the keys inside.
“I left Tabby in the car for a bit because I wanted to record a video, and the keys were inside. I didn’t expect Tabby to step on the lock button,” she wrote.
“I had no choice but to call the firefighters”
Laly had no choice but to call the firefighters, and later in the video, a fire truck arrived at the gas station where a team of abang bomba successfully unlocked her car door.
“There really was no other option but to call the firefighters. Thank you, abang bomba, for helping. I don’t even know whether to laugh or be mad at Tabby,” she said.
Laly also shared with us some advice for fellow cat owners:
“Don’t leave your car keys inside, and if possible, don’t turn off the air conditioning when leaving a car with people or animals inside, because I made the mistake of turning it off when it happened.”

“If I were the one who had to call the firefighters, I’d probably beg them not to come in a fire truck and ask them to arrive in a van instead. It’s embarrassing enough as it is, what’s worse is that it was all caused by a cat locked inside the car.”
