A married 30-year-old Malaysian man was recently caught for khalwat (close proximity) with a foreign woman in a hotel room in Johor.

In a Facebook post by the spokesperson of the Johor Religious Department (JAINJ), the married man is staying alone in Johor, while his wife and child are living in another state.

In the post, JAINJ also mentioned that the woman caught for khalwat with the man is a Muslim but hailed from another country with a social visit pass, which they didn’t disclose.

According to the record of her social visit pass, the woman entered and exited the country on a monthly basis. JAINJ conducted a raid at the hotel room in Johor Bahru, Johor, on Sunday night (14 September).

The woman offers paid sex services by posing as a masseuse

JAINJ also revealed that the woman uses social media to offer paid sex services under the guise of a masseuse and often gets clients staying near the area. JAINJ also revealed that clients were free to visit the hotel to choose the “masseuse” they wanted.

As for the 30-year-old man, JAINJ said that he has a good married life.

“He never had issues in giving money to his family because he earns a lot, and he returns home once or twice every month.”

JAINJ has been actively conducting raids on khalwat in multiple areas in the state, thanks to the tip-off from the public, and the organisation often shared the stories of its raids through its social media posts.
