Based on the viral video on Facebook, the white pickup truck was stuck at the staircase right in front of the memorial hall. It seems like the truck had rammed into something before it reached the hall as the truck’s bonnet was badly damaged and smoke was coming out from the engine.

Several policemen had cornered the truck and a K-9 unit was even spotted at the scene. A policeman pointed what looks like a sub-machine gun at the driver in order to force him out of the vehicle.

However, the driver refused to obey the order and even ignited the engine. He then revved the engine hard but the truck wasn’t moving at all. In fact, the rear left tyre was already burnt out. The policeman then used a baton to break the glass and finally put an end to the mess.

The driver was lifted out from the rear seat of the truck according to another video. A netizen who claimed that he was there the whole time said that the policemen didn’t fire a single shot. The man appeared to be topless and was consequently handcuffed.

The incident was witnessed by several members of the public who uploaded the video on Facebook. In just one hour, the video was shared over 5,000 times, with many throwing in their speculation.

“He must have lost everything in the casino, so he’s looking for Lim Goh Tong to take revenge,” a netizen said.

“Maybe he was trying to destroy the feng shui of Genting Highlands,” another netizen commented.

However, another Facebook user who’ve encountered the white pickup truck said, “This truck is crazy. While I was going down the hill, he was speeding up the hill in the wrong direction. Many cars had to brake and even got into an accident.”

It is unsure whether the pickup truck driver did it on purpose. We’ll update this article once we get more info. Stay tuned!
