A viral video is currently circulating on social media as it shows a man attempting to make an illegal turn by driving against traffic in Damansara Perdana. The man allegedly also threatened violence against another driver and their passenger.

The driver anonymously took to the DashCam Owners Malaysia Facebook page to share the incident, where the man driving against traffic had apparently threatened to beat them and their passenger up for blocking his path when he went against traffic to make an illegal turn.

They wrote, “Today, I was driving along Jalan PJU 8/2, Damansara Perdana, at 1:03pm and was blocked by the car above, a Proton Saga FLX 1.3 2011 model, obstructing my way to turn right. The car owner insisted I reverse my car so that he could illegally turn into Jalan PJU 8/6.”

“The said Saga driver got out of his car and threatened to beat me and my colleague, who was in the car, if I did not reverse, in addition to knocking hard on my car window in an attempt to open my car door.”

(He committed) all of the above despite the kakak (from the roadside) stall telling him several times that he is going against traffic.”
