The 9th of May will forever be ingrained as a historical moment to all who witnessed and participated in GE14. For the past month, Malaysians everywhere were working together to help one another make it home to cast their votes! From raising funds and rushing postal votes home to waiting in the scorching sun in the hopes of changing their country for the better, it is clear that the rakyat has made their voices heard!

According to the EC, a total of 14,449,200 registered voters casted their votes across a total of 8,253 voting centers and 28,115 polling stations nationwide! But guess what?

A vast majority of these voters consisted of Malaysian millennials! YES you heard that right!

According to the breakdown, Malaysians aged 21-39 made up 41% of the total registered voters (by age) this GE14! Who says we all we do is sit on our asses?!
