Drugs, drugs, drugs. They have become so common that it’s no longer a surprise to see the extent humans will go to satisfy such forbidden needs.
Last Friday (10 July), a 30-year-old Malaysian man and his 17-year-old foreign girlfriend were arrested for selling coffee mixed with syabu in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur.
ACP Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin, Brickfields police chief, stated that the suspect obtained the drugs from a drug dealer before mixing them with coffee powder and repackaging them in smaller quantities, as reported by The Sun Daily. The coffee packets were sold to drug users in Taman Desa at the price of RM150 each.
1.65kg methamphetamine of two variations and around 34g of ketamine were seized when police raided the condominium unit at 4.30pm last Friday. These are valued up to RM170,000!
It was revealed in the initial investigations that the man, who is also a drug abuser, has been living with his teenage girlfriend in the unit for the last six months.
The two suspects did not hold previous criminal records and are currently put under a six-day remand order for further investigations.
