Luxury car drivers have a bad reputation on the road, though is it really just a bad reputation or a fact that they tend to be horrible road users?
Well, it appears that netizens have spoken after watching dashcam footage showcased online, of a luxury car driver not only using the emergency lane, but also showing his attitude at a driver who attempted to block him.
The ISU SEMASA VIRAL Twitter page shared the video with the caption, “Misuse of the emergency lane, and want to act all gangster-like. Expensive car but stupid driver.”
In the dashcam footage showcases the driver of the car attempting to block to luxury car driver coming up behind him in the emergency lane.
After the luxury car driver manages to overtake the car, he slows down and slightly blocks the driver before winding down his window and throwing something (that cannot be seen) at the driver, unashamed of the fact that he was using the emergency lane.
The luxury car driver then continued down the emergency lane as the video ends.
Netizens have since condemned the driver, sharing their dissatisfaction against luxury car drivers.
“Expensive car doesn’t mean that you have a brain.”
“People who drive expensive cars are normally stupid.”
“If he was really having an emergency, he wouldn’t have stopped to show his attitude.”
“If I was on my motorcycle, I would just break his side mirror.”
One netizen also asked the most important question.
“Is he throwing pop pop?”
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has since asked the luxury car driver, along with witnesses, to step forward to assist with an investigation into this matter. They also urged road users to be careful while on their journeys and to follow road rules.
