In a recent post, a woman shared her thoughts about an incident at work that made her “officially lose respect” for her boss.
Alisya (pseudonym), who wishes to stay anonymous, opened up on social media and described her female boss as a “leader who completely lost control of herself”.

For illustration purposes only
“Why isn’t the room cleaned?!”
According to her post, Alisya arrived at work, headed to the meeting room 10 minutes early, and sat down, only to realise no one else was there yet.
“I thought maybe everyone was running late, so I quickly went to the toilet. Meanwhile, my colleague was literally hauling heavy items up to the storeroom, not for fun, but because our boss told him to,” she wrote.
But when the boss arrived, she stormed into the meeting room and snapped, “Why isn’t the room cleaned?”
“Her voice was sharp, cold, accusing. The room was clean, with the chairs arranged and the table cleared. Only the floor wasn’t swept, something the person in charge had forgotten,” Alisya added.

Her boss threw a broom at her feet
Alisya also claimed that her boss went into the pantry, grabbed a broom, and threw it right in front of her before slamming the office door.
“She asked where everyone was, even though she saw me, knew where my colleague was, and had given the order that caused the delay.
“She didn’t drop or pass the broom. She threw it with full force, right at my feet. My heart sank, and the whole room froze,” she added.

Her boss returned and, this time, allegedly threw her bag directly in front of Alisya.
“I tried to take a deep breath and help clean up anyway, but she came back. This time, she threw her bag again, right in front of me,” Alisya said.

Alisya later pointed out that a title doesn’t make someone a leader; real leadership comes from calmness and respect.
“That’s when it all clicked for me. This wasn’t just stress. It wasn’t a ‘bad day’; this was a leader who had completely lost control.”
“A title doesn’t make you a leader. A loud voice doesn’t earn respect. Throwing things doesn’t make you powerful. Real leadership is about guiding, not humiliating. And intimidation? That’s not leadership, that’s failure dressed up in a suit,” she shared.
