Malaysians may very well be some of the nicest people you will ever meet and when times are tough, they’ll go above and beyond to help regardless of race or religion.

An example of this is a Malay couple who went the extra mile to assist an Indian family, after their car had broken down.

The VIRAL PERAK Facebook page shared the incident, which took place in Changkat Jering, Perak, as told by samini_unicorn.

They wrote, “Our car broke down in Changkat Jering earlier. Luckily, there was a kind Pak Cik who helped us to repair the vehicle, and it happened to take place not far from his house. Then, the Pak Cik and his wife invited us to visit their house to have some refreshments with rambutans, in conjunction with the Deepavali festival.”

She went on to share her gratitude for the uncle and his wife’s kindness

“Thank you very much, Pak Cik. You have become one of the people who inspires everyone, including us, regardless of nationality or religion,” she added.

It is this kind of actions that truly make Malaysians the salt of the earth.

Thank you, Pak Cik, for showing us what it is really like to be Malaysian. We hope for nothing but the best for the Pak Cik, his wife and their loved ones!

Stay tuned for more updates.
