Kepong Man Arrested For Slashing Another Man with a Knife During a Fight Allegedly Over Double Parking

Videos of a huge fight over a misunderstanding allegedly about a car being blocked in a parking spot by another car in a residential area in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, have gone viral on social media.

The #UpdateInfo X page recently shared the videos, which show a man in a bright green shirt fighting with another man in a hoodie, while a woman tried to break up the fight as a crowd looked on and shouted at them to stop.

The fight eventually escalated when the man in the bright green shirt pulled out a knife and severely injured the other man, causing chaos. He then had to be pulled away as others attempted to argue with him while the victim sat on the ground from his injuries.

 

According to a report by Sinar Harian, this incident took place yesterday (September 4) at 6pm.

Sentul District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Ahmad Sukarno Mohd Zahari shared that the man in the bright green shirt has been arrested while the victim who was injured was rushed to a hospital.

“The injured 24-year-old man was rushed to a hospital and received 35 stitches. Following that, the suspect was arrested at the scene of the incident at about 6:45pm,” he said.

The suspect, who slashed the victim with a 32cm knife, will be remanded for investigation under Section 326 of the Penal Code.
