Johor Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi has announced that Monday (28 April) has been declared a special holiday for the entire state
Taking to his official Facebook page, Onn Hafiz asserted that the Johor State Government decided to declare the special holiday as a sign of support and to commemorate Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) excellent footballing achievements.

The Johor Menteri Besar also congratulated JDT for qualifying for the Malaysia Cup 2024-2025 final against Sri Pahang this Saturday (26 April).
He further lauded JDT’s chances of winning the title as the football club had previously been victorious in the 2017, 2019, 2022 and 2023 editions of the competition.
Onn Hafiz thus urged the Southern Tiger fans to show up at Bukit Jalil National Stadium to support and be the team’s ’12th player’ in the final.

Besides that, he also invited JDT fans to celebrate the club’s celebrations for winning their 11th consecutive Super League title at the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium at 8pm on 27 April.
Moreover, Onn Hafiz posted his congratulations to Johor Regent, Tunku Mahkota Ismail, for his vision, planning and extraordinary effort to turn JDT into a prestigious club, not only in Malaysia but throughout Asia.
