Johor celebrates another holiday after winning the Malaysia Super League title last night.
Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT)’s football club JOHOR Southern Tigers secured its Malaysia Super League title with a 3-0 victory over Sabah Football Club.
Following Johor’s multiple sports achievements and JDT’s football team winning the Malaysia Super League title, the state government has announced 16 October 2022 as a special holiday for all Johorians.
According to the statement of the Johor state government, the announcement of this special holiday is to thank all parties, including the government and the Johor citizens for their support towards the team, as well as an appreciation for all sports teams representing JDT.
Due to the rather sudden announcement last night, some netizens only realised that it is a holiday today.
