If you are a Belieber then you would know that Justin Bieber is currently making his way around Asia as part of his ‘Purpose World Tour’ but sadly for his fans in China, he has been banned from having a concert there.

Why is he banned there? Well, the Chinese authorities have reportedly cited his recent “bad behaviour” as the reason for the ban. Hmm, interesting! If you have been following his career, then you would know he has been involved in several misdemeanours and clashes with the law, such as drag racing in a yellow Lamborghini while under the influence.

According to a statement on their website, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture replied to a disgruntled netizen who complained about not being able to see the pop idol in China. The fan asked, “Can you please explain in detail why Justin Bieber is not allowed to perform in China? He has won many awards and is very talented, why aren’t you letting his fans enjoy his performance?”

The comment was addressed by the bureau, who replied,

“Hi, thank you for expressing your concern towards the arts and cultural scene in Beijing! In response to your query, Justin Bieber is a gifted singer, but he is also a controversial young foreign singer. As far as we are concerned, he has engaged in a series of bad behavior, both in his social life and during a previous performance in China, which caused discontent among the public.”

“In order to maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment, it is not suitable to bring in badly behaved entertainers.”

According to the Guardian, he caused a commotion back in 2013 when he was spotted being carried up the Great Wall of China by his bodyguards. This was probably one of the reasons China wasn’t keen on having the pop star back.

However, if you are still interested to see him live, then you can catch the Asian leg of his tour in India, Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Sadly, he’s not dropping by Malaysia this time around. Sorry, guys!

However, fans in China don’t have to worry that they won’t be able to enjoy Justin Beiber’s concerts forever! The bureau hinted that it is possible that the pop star would be allowed back once he, “is able to improve his conduct as he grows up and will once again find public favour.”

Even China says Justin Bieber’s behaviour is too bad for him to make an appearance there! Guess it’s time he should get his act together!
