A wedding ceremony in the East Javan city of Surabaya, Indonesia went viral recently due to its rather unique location.

Placing tables and chairs on both sides of a train track that runs through a residential area, a video of a Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) train slowing down as it passes through the ceremony has gone viral on TikTok.

The video, shared by @dilaanrfd has garnered more than 2.5 million views and over 256,000 likes as of the time of writing.

In the video, guests can be seen dining on both sides of the train track when the train slowly passes through. There was also a man who acted as a ‘traffic officer’, waving the train to pass through slowly.

Most of the guests were unperturbed by the train passing through and some, like the original poster, even took the opportunity to record the rather unique incident.

Of course, having a wedding reception beside a train track is not exactly the safest thing in the world, though, from the way the train slowed down, the conductor must’ve been notified of the ongoing ceremony.

So, what do you guys think of the video? Have you encountered something like this before? Share your thoughts and experiences with us in the comments.
