India Man Becomes World’s Richest Beggar With Net Worth of RM4.2 Mil, Refuses to Stop Begging

After spending 10 to 12 hours a day begging on the streets of Mumbai, India, a man has now become the world’s richest beggar with a net worth of Rs 7.5 crores (RM4,237,009).

Having been deprived of a formal education due to his underprivileged background, Bharat Jain became a millionaire from he received from begging by the roadside.

According to a report by India Times, he makes approximately Rs 2,000 to Rs 2,500 (RM113 to RM141) a day, and up to Rs 60,000 to Rs 75,000 (RM3,390 to RM4,237) a month through the generosity of the general public.

And through years of begging, he eventually used the money to purchase a flat worth Rs 1.2 crore (RM960,113) as well as 2 shop units in which he rents out for Rs 30,000 (RM1,694) a month.

On top of that, he and his family, consisting of his wife, 2 children, his brother and his father, are said to be living comfortably in a 1BHK (1 Bedroom, Hall, Kitchen) duplex. And unlike his childhood, he has ensured that his children receives an education at a convent school.

Despite his immense wealth, as well as his family business of running a stationary store, Bharat Jain continues to beg, ignoring advice from his family to stop.
