Human Resource (HR) Minister V. Sivakumar has announced that amendments to the Employment Act 1955 regarding flexible working arrangements are among the matters his ministry will implement soon. Speaking to reporters after the 29th Cuepacs Triennial Congress Convention at Shah Alam Convention Centre (SACC) earlier today, Sivakumar also revealed that he is looking at all existing policies and will only implement new initiatives after getting the necessary input.

As reported by Bernama, the HR Minister said that the amendments to Employment Act 1955 are also included in several other plans by the ministry. They are now collecting feedback from all related agencies to better understand the roles and functions of every department better.
