Heroic Man Goes Viral For Risking Life to Save Cats Trapped in Cages From Burning Johor Shelter

A brave man decided to jump over a fence into a raging fire to rescue cats that were trapped in cages within the inferno.

Netizen, karlzidane, took to his TikTok page to showcase the heroic act, which took place at a cat shelter at a flats building in Taman Perling, Johor.

He wrote, “Salute to this brother. What a pity, there were so many cats in cages.”

 

In the video showcased, the man can be seen jumping over the cat shelter’s fence before rummaging through cages.

He then quickly started picking up cages with cats in them and throwing them over the fence and away from the fire. Another man soon appeared to assist with the cages that had been thrown over the fence.

A second video shows others attempting to put out the fire.

In the comment section, karlzidane clarified that many residents of the flat also assisted in the rescue efforts.

“Many people helped. I only recorded a little bit. Many from the upper floors (of the flats) also helped. I heard that they managed to save 8 cages. But I truly salute this brother (who jumped over the fence).”
