CMCO Extends Again! Here’s The Full List Of SOPs For KL, Selangor & Putrajaya

In his live updates yesterday (26 October), Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, updated the SOPs that will be enforced during the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) at Kuala Lumpur, Selangor and Putrajaya.

Here’s what you can and cannot do during the two weeks of CMCO that’s set to begin at midnight 13 October and end on 9 November:

  1. PDRM, ATM and RELA  in charge of patrolling especially in places with high infection rates
  2. Only 3 people can leave their house in the same car to get food/essential items
  3. High-risk individuals and children are not encouraged to leave the house
  4. Inter-district and inter-state travel banned EXCEPT for emergencies such as death or illness but must inform PDRM
  5. You can cross districts as long as your employers issue a pass or letter as proof with complete details
  6. Restaurant, food trucks, food stalls, kiosks and grocery stores allowed to operate from 6am to 10pm
  7. Take-away, drive-thru and delivery are encouraged. Nonetheless, dine in is still ALLOWED
  8. When you dine-in, only two people are allowed per table to maintain social distancing
  9. Morning markets (6am to 12pm), pasar malam (4pm to 10pm) but to ensure SOPs are being obeyed, these places will be patrolled by RELA
  10. One entry point, one exit point and physical distance must be observed at all times
  11. Fuel stations are allowed to operate from 6am to 10pm but fuel stations on the highway are allowed to operate for 24 hours.
  12. All public transportations systems are allowed to operate as usual owing to the fact most offices are still open
  13. Taxis and e-hailing services are allowed but with a maximum of two passengers (not including the driver) in the car
  14. Pharmacies will be allowed to operate from 8am to 11pm
  15. All economic sectors can be opened but strict SOPs must be enforced, following the previous SOPs imposed in May
  16. Everything related to food services can operate, aircraft services as well
  17. Solat allowed in Mosques, including imam but there will be a limitation on the number of people (six ppl only)
  18. Recreational activities not allowed and entertainment centres will be closed
  19. Bars, theme parks, indoor playgrounds, cinemas and pubs will be closed as well
  20. E-sports, outdoor activities not more than 10 people, individual exercises are allowed
  21. All educational institutions will be closed but students taking exams with foreign institutions will be allowed to take their exams.
  22. All physical seminars, workshops and MICE will not be allowed
  23. All social activities will not be allowed including weddings, reunions and such.
  24. For barbershops and beauty salons, the SOP is as follow:
  •   Premise owners must have their patrons register using MySejahtera and check their temperatures
  • The services allowed are basic haircuts, hair wash, moustache and beard trim, makeup, hair treatment, manicure, pedicure, facials
  • The distance between each chair should be at least 2 metres
  • Workers should be wearing face shields, disposable aprons and a set of gloves
  • Business owners must disinfect their premises at all times
  • Foreign workers must be tested for Covid-19
  • Towels can’t be shared between each customer
  • Only a certain number of customers can enter the shop at a time and patrons above the age of 60 must make an appointment
