Health D-G: 23 New Positive Covid-19 Cases, 6 Discharged & No Deaths Today

According to the Ministry of Health, there are new 23 cases in Malaysia today (15 September) as of 5:11 pm, bringing the total number of cases to 9,969 cases. There are currently 632 active cases.

Out of the 23 cases reported, 13 cases are local transmissions and 10 cases are imported. The highest local transmission cases are from Sabah with 13 cases including 8 cases are from the new cluster, Cluster Pulau.

6 cases have been discharged today and the total number of patients discharged since February is 9,209 cases.

There is no addition of death cases today bringing the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 in Malaysia to 128 cases.

These latest numbers should indicate that we need to accept the new normal by maintaining good hygiene and practising physical distancing at all times.
