Everyone is constantly searching for the fountain of youth but it appears that this Taiwanese interior designer has definitely found it. At first glance, Lure Hsu looks like any fashionable, pretty teenager but wait till you find out her real age, ’cause your jaw will drop!
That’s because the youthful-looking lass will be celebrating her 42nd birthday in August but she barely looks like she left her teens. How??? Daily Mail reports that she made waves on the Internet when she appeared on an entertainment show in 2015 with her sister, 35-year-old Sharon Hsu, who is an actress. Her sister looks just as young as her!
It appears that the youthful genes seem to run strong in the family because they have another 39-year-old sister who has given birth to two kids, yet all of them still look like college students. What sorcery is this?
Sharon revealed her sister’s age when she posted a greeting on Facebook wishing her sister ‘happy 40th birthday’ that year. That’s when fans everywhere were shocked and they immediately rushed to follow the beautiful Lure’s social media account.
She also gained the attention of local media in China and Taiwan after they shared photos of her online. They have since dubbed her ‘the goddess with a frozen age’ and her fame skyrocketed after that.
According to Nextshark, her secret to maintaining her youthful, wrinkle-free complexion and gorgeous looks can be credited to a healthy diet consisting mainly of drinking lots of water and eating lots of vegetables. She is a big believer in staying hydrated to keep herself looking young.
Lure also says that she avoids sugary drinks and only drinks a cup of black coffee every morning, apart from her favourite plain water. She eats mostly vegetarian meals, with Chinese cabbage being her favourite dish and her food is usually lightly-flavoured as she says that strong dipping sauces have a “high energy level”. Take note, people!
Besides that, she mentions that she takes other supplements such as Vitamin C and collagen to keep herself looking beautiful and is an advocate of using sunscreen and moisturiser. After all, the sun does cause premature ageing!
She says, “Once your skin has enough water, you don’t even need to worry about ageing and wrinkles.”
Don’t we all wish we could look as good as her when we’re that age?
