The first day of school is all about setting expectations. It’s a nerve-wracking time, so it’s understandable for families to feel worried for their kids.
In a recent video that has been circulating online, user @insuranceagentadwin took to his TikTok to share his little brother’s experience on the first day of school.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Adwin revealed that he is the eldest son in the family and they’re residing in Kuala Selangor. He shared that his parents are no longer working, so he took it upon himself to pay for his little brother’s school fees and books.
In the video, Adwin can be seen holding a piece of paper as he sits with his little brother on his first day of school. As his little brother sat with him before heading to school, Adwin handed him an agreement.
The do’s and don’ts
Adwin shared how he came up with the idea to create the agreement solely to remind his little brother of the do’s and don’ts he should follow while at school.
He continued to explain how he set some ground rules that he himself had been following throughout his life and during his school days.
“I decided to lay down some rules that I’ve always stuck to, even back in my school days. I wanted to make sure my little brother understood them and followed along.”
Adwin explained that the idea behind the agreement was to steer his little brother away from engaging in inappropriate behavior at school.
The list including things like no vaping, no alcohol consumption, no cigarette smoking, and more, all of which his little brother agreed to and signed off on.
“My little brother was really pumped for his first day of school, and he totally didn’t see the agreement coming.”
Netizens loved Adwin’s idea of the agreement and started pouring into the comments to show their support!

Perhaps we should all think about doing this for our siblings too on their first day of school…
