Ready to break free from the monotony of everyday life and escape the unrelenting heat? Hendrick’s Gin offers the ultimate summer respite with its thirst-quenching campaign, Refreshing Encounters. Now you can embrace serendipity and discover joy in unexpected moments with this unique experience.

To bring Hendrick’s Refreshing Encounters to life, the unusual gin maker invites all to indulge in the coolest of diversions, as it once again brings back its Cucumber Currency Exchange. From May 16 to May 22, 2024,  Hendrick’s will recognise the true value of the cucumber by transforming the humble green fruit into exchangeable monetary units!

Over 140 bars nationwide will accept cucumbers as currency, and consumers will be able to exchange it for a refreshing Hendrick’s Gin & Tonic. You can check out the full list of participating outlets here!

Hendrick’s Gin Southeast Asia Brand Ambassador, Charmaine Thio, emphasised the cucumber’s esteemed status within Hendrick’s, stating, “No other gin tastes like Hendrick’s because no other gin is made like Hendrick’s. The mighty cucumber plays such a pivotal role in making Hendrick’s Gin and its cocktails distinctly unusual, and this is why we are inviting curious-minded individuals to exchange this unconventional green fruit for the most peculiar libation, a Hendrick’s & Tonic.”

Break free from the ordinary with Refreshing Encounters

Hendrick’s invites consumers to escape the conventional, with a series of liberating and thirst-quenching activities for the month of May, starting with a guest shift at WIP @ Bangsar Shopping Centre on 15th May 2024. Thio will craft four delightful Hendrick’s cocktails, and guests who delve into all four cocktails will unlock the tantalising chance to select a surprise gift from the peculiar Gift Cabinet.

Consumers can also stand to win a Hendrick’s Refreshing Retreat in participating bars, from 15th May – 16th June 2024. Five pairs of winners will get to enjoy a 2D1N stay in the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel KL, complete with a rejuvenating spa session and Hendrick’s cocktail pairing dinner at Bar Trigona, valued at up to RM7,000. Visit the website for the full details of the Hendrick’s Refreshing Retreat.

Next, experience the joy of Hendrick’s Refreshing Encounters with a whimsical Guided Bar Tour on 16th May 2024. Join the enchanting brand ambassador, Thio, as she unveils the mystique behind the world’s most refreshing cucumber served. This peculiar escapade spans across the city’s best nightlife scene, where selected guests will be immersed in the essence of Hendrick’s, one cucumber at a time.

The Refreshing Encounter continues on 17th May 2024, at Fritz @ The Troika, where Hendrick’s Tini Martini transforms ordinary moments into extraordinary ones. Embark on a quest to uncover tiny cucumbers secreted within captivating dioramas, each discovery bringing you closer to a coveted prize – a Hendrick’s Miniature bottle! Then, bask in the satisfaction of your triumph as you savour all three curiously refreshing variations of tini martinis – skillfully crafted and served by none other than Thio.

Ready to escape the conventional and surrender to Refreshing Encounters with Hendrick’s? Mark your calendars for each adventure, stay up to date with the latest from Hendrick’s on Instagram.
