“Hey! Myvi!”

A bus driver saw no other choice but to get his speaker out and call for a Myvi driver who had their car blocking the road by parking at the side on the yellow line.

According to the video shared on the Facebook page of Warga Wilayah, the incident took place just outside REXKL at Jalan Sultan, KL. The double-decker tourist bus driver went around the car to see if the driver left any contact information and realised he eventually had to shout to get the driver’s attention with his stern warning.

“I’ll count till three, and you better be here! One, two, three!”

Unfortunately, the driver was nowhere to be seen. (Perhaps, they were amongst the crowd who were watching?)

Regardless, the Myvi driver (whether they heard the noise or not) did not come out and caused a standstill traffic in the area. The enraged bus driver decided not to wait and slowly made his way through the road, and tried his best not to scratch the parked silver  Myvi.

The bus made it through but that’s not the point

Social media users noticed that the enraged bus driver eventually made it out without the need to call for the ignorant Myvi driver but most netizens pointed out that the law’s the law, and parking on the yellow line is not the right thing to do.

“The comments that said the bus could fit and make it out are the people with the mentality that like to trouble others.”

“DBKL, when are you going to take action against cars that park illegally? A summon alone won’t work. Dr Zaliha, please take note and take swift action.”

“It’s a yellow line and it’s obviously an offence. Stop troubling others.”

“Just ram through the car. Those who park there have their brains on their knees.”

How would you have handled the situation if your car was blocked by illegally parked cars?
