Victim confronted woman over alleged affair before fight turned deadly

Bau District Police Chief, Superintendent Mohd Haide A. Rahman, said the incident happened when the victim, a carpenter, went to the home of a 63-year-old female suspect and accused her of having an affair with another man.

“A fight broke out, and the victim punched the woman in the face. The suspect then ran out of the house, chased by the victim.”

“She then found a wooden pepper pole near the gate and struck the victim’s arm. At that moment, another suspect, a 63-year-old retired soldier, arrived and tried to break up the fight by kicking the victim,” he said.

Body

According to Mohd Haide, the retired soldier also told the woman to stop hitting the victim after seeing his head bleeding and collapsing to the ground.

He added that police found a wooden stick near the victim’s body. Both suspects were arrested after surrendering themselves at 8:20 AM today.
