The victim is seen running into the bar’s front counter area, believed to be asking for help, but he was surrounded before being beaten to the point of collapse.

A bar employee was also seen in the recording trying to intervene and chase away the group involved, but as soon as they left, the victim collapsed and lost consciousness. Assistant Commissioner Azahar Abdul Rahim, Seremban Police Chief, confirmed the matter and said the victim succumbed to his injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.

Investigations are ongoing, and police are identifying suspects.

“We are identifying the number of individuals involved and examining CCTV footage to identify the suspects and the cause of the incident,” Azahar said.

According to the caption of the video on Reddit, the conflict was triggered by a dispute when employees allegedly asked the customers to leave. The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), however, have yet to release an official statement regarding the matter, reported Sinar Harian.

Azahar also asked witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to the nearest police station to assist in the investigation. Stay tuned to WORLD OF BUZZ  as we keep you updated.
