There’s nothing quite like the bond between a mother and son. Whether it’s sharing life’s joys, facing challenges together, or simply enjoying each other’s company, the mother-son bond is truly special and irreplaceable.
In a recent heartwarming post by @real_vincechin, he tells the story of sharing a table with an 85-year-old mother and her son at an eatery.

A son’s love
In the post, a man is seen having a meal with his mother, sitting side by side as he helps her by scooping rice, shredding chicken for her, and feeding her.
Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Vincent shared that he was on his lunch break at the eatery across from his office in Petaling Jaya. While eating alone, he came across an elderly woman and her son, and they ended up sharing a table due to how crowded the place was.

He was doing his duty as a son
Vincent continued to share how he tried to start a conversation with the elderly woman, however, she didn’t utter a single word back to him.
Despite that, the son was the one that engaged in small talk with Vincent instead. Vincent guessed that the woman and her son weren’t living nearby judging by their conversations.
“I don’t think the elderly woman and her son are actually from around here. From the conversations I had with him, it sounded like they came from far away just to have a meal at the eatery.”
His mother would only eat at the said eatery
Vincent continued to share how frail the elderly woman was, and the son did what any son would do where he would fulfill every request his mother made.
“The son told me that his mother only had two teeth left. He mentioned that he always prepares and feeds her whatever food she wants and can eat. He even said how his mother refuses to eat takeaway food and insists on eating at that specific shop.”
Vincent admired the son’s dedication, bringing his elderly mom to the eatery despite the challenging parking situation and how crowded the area is.
“The parking is difficult to find there, and pushing his mother in a wheelchair through a crowded area just to ensure she enjoys her favorite meal shows a lot of love.”
