Crackhouse Comedy Club License Cancelled, Owner Blacklisted From Registering Businesses In KL For Life
The owner of the Crackhouse Comedy Club has officially been blacklisted for life, from registering a business license at any location within Kuala Lumpur.
Based on a report by Harian Metro, the Federal Territories Deputy Minister, Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias shared that the Kuala Lumpur City Hall Licensing Committee (DBKL) met on July 27 and agreed to cancel the comedy club’s business license with effect from July 30.
“In fact, we have also made the decision to blacklist the owner of this club from registering a business license in Kuala Lumpur forever. This means that the owner of the club cannot register any business activities in Kuala Lumpur even if using a different name and company,” he said.
On top of that, he explained that his party will also monitor several clubs suspected of being involved in similar activities around the country’s capital.
“Any entertainment licenses that we present and issue to each premise must follow the set rules. For those who violate the licensing conditions, then they will not be spared from strict action,”
“At the same time, actions, monitoring and inspections will be carried out periodically by DBKL because we don’t want anyone to escape our actions,” he added.
