A pizza company is currently looking for a professional pizza taster. Anyone interested to apply?
Yeap, its true guys, a company called Bath Pizza Co is looking for an expert to sample their new menu!
To be that lucky taster, here are a few important things you need to have:
1. A cultured palate
If everything taste the same to you, then you’re not the one they’re looking for.
This is crucial because after tasting the pizzas, you’ll need to convey your professional opinion and feedback to their head chef, which would be taken into consideration when refining their menu. In other words, your job is NOT to makan only.
2. A great depth of knowledge
You don’t need to have a master’s degree but you must know the difference between Margherita and Marinara. Googling the difference between…
3. Good communication skills
Also, you have to be a good communicator who’s excellent in expressing feedback because ‘okay lo’ and ‘not bad’ aren’t good enough for the head chef.
4. A huge passion for pizza
Above all criteria, this is the most important one – you must be passionate about all things pizza! If you’re practically a walking pizza dictionary who eats, lives and breathes pizza, then you probably have a shot at this job!
So, are you the one they’re looking for?
If you’re hired, your title would be ‘Bath Pizza Co pizza taster’. How cool is that!
Salary wise, it was described as ‘competitive with serious pizza perks’. I’m sold just by the pizza perks.
Unfortunately, this role is only a part-time job where your presence is required for two hours per week on a weekday, and the company is based in Somerset, England. Aww man…
Don’t fret just yet though, because the company is offering to cover your travel costs, whether you’re travelling by flight, train or car – provided that you’re the ONE they’re looking for.
