Exposing workers’ or employees’ bad habits have long been the theme of most tv series these days especially in the west.

Though not many of these shows take place in the Asian continent, we feel that it is about time such a show be made here, documenting the bad customer service we’ve been receiving these past few years.

From unhygienic food practices to expensively priced items, this video that we are about to share is a ‘new theme’ that could take place at your local convenience store especially when you are not careful at handling your money.

Taking to Facebook, Viral.my shared a video of a Malaysian confronting a local convenience store employee for ‘stealing’ his money.

Here is a video of the incident.

As witnessed in the video, the victim tried to get his RM10 back, after the cashier produced a bill of RM31.80 but requested RM41.80 from the victim.

Sneaky right.

For those who are uninterested in checking their receipts, may just pay RM41 and simply walk away – but not for this customer.

Realizing the fraud, the man whipped out his phone and began recording the employee asking him for his RM10 balance back.

“The total is RM31.80, why did you say RM41.80?”

Clearly not able to answer the angry customer’s line of questioning, the employee gave him the silent treatment instead.

“If I didn’t ask you for the receipt, where does the extra RM10 go to?”

In his response, the cashier mentions that the final price was RM31.80 but requested RM41.80, attributing the difference in price to a ‘discount’ that was done by the system.

It is important to note that the discount did not appear on the receipt.

Despite not being able to make an argument against the customer,  it seems that he returned the extra cash as witnessed by the clinched RM10 in the video.

Who do you think is at fault here? Let us know in the comments section below.
