A 32-year-old teacher was arrested in June as part of an investigation by Thailand’s Special Investigation Department (DSI) into a Pathum Thani modelling agency accused of exploiting and sexually abusing underage boys.

The DSI reported that the teacher, known as “Tee,” has been sentenced to 111 years and 216 months in prison by the Phitsanulok Court for the exploitation and sexual abuse of a minor, as stated by Berita Harian.

The teacher was also told to pay 1.5 million baht (RM196,087) to the child and 650,000 baht (RM85,000) to the child’s mum for the crimes committed while he was teaching at a school in Phitsanulok province.

Tee admitted to sexually assaulting children at several locations in the school, including his car, the bathrooms, and a soundproof room.

The DSI investigation found that Tee and the modelling agency owner, Danudet, had been conspiring to exploit children, with evidence showing that both of them sexually abused over 1,000 victims.

Danudet, confessed to committing the crimes earlier this year after police found over 500,000 images of sexually abused children in his possession.

The 28-year-old was found guilty of over 60 offences and sentenced to 121 years and 223 months in prison on February 11.

Danudet was also ordered to pay 2.1 million baht (RM274,000) in compensation to 8 victims identified by the DSI from the images.
