A dog in Thailand passed away next to its owner’s coffin after it was seen crying devastatingly during its owner’s funeral.

According to a report by Matichon Online, this incident happened on Wednesday (December 4) in the Kamphaeng Phet Province of Thailand, where the funeral of a 75-year-old deceased woman was taking place.

The deceased woman’s dog, Judo, who she had raised since it was a puppy, had become inconsolable following its owner’s admission into a hospital and subsequent death on Tuesday (December 3) and refused to eat.

During her funeral the next day, Judo lay on the floor near the deceased woman’s coffin during her funeral, with tears streaming down its face. Feeling for the grief-stricken dog, funeral attendees used tissues to wipe the dog’s tears and attempted to comfort it but to no avail.

Not long after, the dog took its last breath and passed away next to its owner’s coffin.

The body of the dog was later buried in the backyard of the deceased’s home.

The daughter of the deceased woman believes her mother decided to take the dog with her to the next life, due to the strong bond they’ve formed over the years that she raised it.
