Bad things can happen to anyone anywhere and bad people are willing to bad things whenever they get an opportunity. Hence as individuals, we have to always be mindful of everything around us. Always be on high alert especially when you are walking into a quiet place where no one can help you. For example, a lift.
Recently, a CCTV recording blew up on Twitter which was shared by @qmeryns which shows how two robbers did their business in a lift at an apartment in Shah Alam. From the looks of it, the two robbers don’t simply attack just anyone in the lift. They pick and choose their victims.

In the clip, both robbers, wearing helmets to conceal their identity from the CCTV, waited for the right victim to walk in before pinning him against the lift wall and threatening him with a big knife/cleaver. They then searched the victim’s body for valuables before kicking him out of the lift.

Apparently this was not the first case as within the Twitter discussion, some actually shared another clip of them in action, with the same modus operandi. Looks like they have found a formula for success when it comes to robbing people. Although both of them seemed to only use the weapon to threaten the victims, they might resort to using it for real in the future and that can lead to worse things.

Like it or not, please take extra measures in order to protect yourselves and your loved ones. It is always better to pay attention to your surroundings so that we can prevent such incidents from happening which can lead to us losing our valuables and maybe put our lives in danger!
