“Been waiting for 3 hours to charge it” – China EV User Gets Stuck in Long Queue at Charging Port

An electric vehicle (EV) user in China has a message to those who are looking to buy one – don’t buy it.

In a viral video shared on the Facebook page of Mcar Show, the woman waiting for her turn to charge her EV said she had been waiting for three long hours. She also showed a group of other EV drivers waiting for their turn to charge their vehicles.

“Please don’t buy an EV. I’ve been waiting in line for 3 hours and I don’t know how long do I still need to wait.”

The location, however, was not specifically disclosed.

“5 minutes to fill up gas, hours to charge battery”

Social media users, on the other hand, were baffled to see EV users have to go through such “torment” just to get their cars charged, and many thought owning an EV car was not a feasible idea.

“EV is not just expensive but it comes with A LOT of problems!”

EV is what the rich drive to the market for groceries, and they’ll drive a Vellfire for long distance,” said a user.

A Malaysian netizen also commented, “It’s just a matter of time before Malaysian EV users experience the same thing.”

“EV does not, and will never attract me, regardless of how cheap it gets.”
