With Tesla making its way into the Malaysian market, those who can afford it have been eyeing the vehicle and considering the electric vehicle for their use. What are the odds for an EV to get into an accident?

Just recently in KL, an EV was spotted in the middle of the road being carried away by a tow truck after crashing into the back of a blue Perodua Bezza. The EV was “decorated” with tons of stickers on its body, claiming to be the “1st EV to go around the world”. At the passenger door, another sticker saying “Conquer the world” can be seen.

The Perodua Bezza, on the other hand, was parked by the roadside in front of a boutique, with the rear end severely damaged.

The clip went viral on social media after a Malaysian man, Asri posted it on his TikTok account. In his caption, it is mentioned that the driver of the EV car started his journey from China before getting into an accident in KL. In the meantime, two different plate numbers were also spotted at the back of the car.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Asri said the incident took place in Jalan Ampang, KL, just outside of Gulati’s Boutique.

According to a report by New Straits Times, the “1st EV car” was bought by a couple who dreamt of touring the world, and they planned to cross some countries including Thailand, Laos, China, Europe, Africa and others. It is unknown as to how the EV ended up crashing into the Bezza.
