It’s mostly a good time when you take a trip down memory lane and look at how far you’ve come and how much you’ve changed. Sometimes, it brings us back to the good ol’ times.

Thanks to the Internet, Malaysians got to see the younger days of many local politicians but this time, the Menteri Besar of Kedah, Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor has stolen the spotlight not only after he maintained his seat in the recent state election but also for a picture of his younger self which has circulated online.

In a tweet by @BN4everTN50 which has been reshared by many social media pages, the image of a young Sanusi gained the attention of many Malaysians who were mostly shocked to see the huge change. The old picture, however, did not state the exact year or date.

Sanusi was born in August 1974, which makes him 49 this year. According to a report by Harakah Daily, Sanusi used to undergo training as a Navy reserve officer cadet during his time at university which lasted 3 years.

“Bab boy vibes!”

Regardless, Malaysian netizens are shocked to see how much Sanusi has changed over the decades.

Some even spotted “bad boy vibes” in young Sanusi.

Another netizen also pointed out that the huge changes imply that men, too, need skin care.

“Bad boy! Like the head in the High Council (local TV series), always a bad boy vibes when taking pictures.”

During the state election, Sanusi managed to secure his seat in Jeneri, Kedah for the 2nd time with nearly 22,000 votes. He has been the Menteri Besar of Kedah since May 2020.

Fellow Malaysians, especially people in Kedah, could you recognise Sanusi at the 1st glance?
