The public caning case of two Muslim women who attempted to commit same-sex relations has caused quite an uproar on the internet, garnering attention from both local and international bodies.

In fact, just yesterday (Sept 3), Dirk Blocker, actor of comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine, posted on his Twitter page urging people to boycott Malaysian products as a protest against the public lesbian caning, as reported by Malay Mail.

“Boycott Malaysian products until the government there stops torturing people for living their lives,” he said in his tweet below.

His post has gotten mixed reactions from the public. Some lauded his statement, while others told him to stop poking his nose into Malaysian matters.
